Warwick and Central Rhode Island

Warwick, Rhode Island is conveniently located in the center of the state, just a short l 0-minute drive from Providence. Warwick is home to 39 miles of picturesque coastline, scenic golf courses, historic villages, ample shopping and scores of restaurants. Those looking to spend time outdoors will want to explore Goddard Park on horseback or take in the sweeping views of Narragansett Bay from Rocky or Conimicut Points.

Nearby Cranston and East Greenwich offer boutique and big-name shopping, along with an eclectic mix of restaurants and things to do. East Greenwich also features a number of waterfront nightlife and dining venues.

Pawtuxet Village, located on the Warwick/ Cranston line, is a Colonial-era neighborhood, now a trendy destination for restaurants and shops. The village plays host to Gaspee Days each June, a two week commemoration of the 1772 burning of the British schooner HMS Gaspee by patriotic Rhode Islanders - the American Revolution's first armed conflict.
